Every Yatra Begins with a Conversation
Whether you're an individual seeking a transformative Yatra, an educator reimagining learning beyond the classroom, a community organization exploring immersive experiences, or a team longing to reconnect with purpose, we'd love to walk alongside you.
At Vimukt Shiksha, every Yatra is co-created with care, rooted in dialogue, trust, and the belief that travel can become a living pedagogy for learning, reflection, and transformation.
Find Your Path
No two Yatras are the same. We believe every meaningful Yatra is co-created. From open pilgrimages for curious travellers to custom immersions for educational institutions, communities, and organizations, each collaboration is thoughtfully designed around people, place, and purpose. Explore the many ways we can walk together.
Five ways to collaborate with Vimukt Shiksha.

Open Yatras
JOIN AN OPEN YATRA
Throughout the year, we curate immersive Yatras across diverse landscapes and communities. Each Yatra is thoughtfully designed around a unique theme, inviting individuals from different walks of life to come together in a shared experience of learning, reflection, and discovery.
Rather than sightseeing, our Open Yatras invite participants to slow down, immerse themselves in local cultures, learn from living knowledge systems, and become part of a temporary learning community.
Ideal for: Individuals, Families, Educators, Students, Professionals, Conscious Travellers
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Academic Yatras
Education becomes transformative when it is lived.
We collaborate with schools, colleges, universities, homeschooling/unSchooling communities and gap year programs to design Academic Yatras that bridge theory with lived experience.
Each Yatra is curated around the aspirations of the institution while creating opportunities for students to engage deeply with communities, cultures, ecology, heritage, and local wisdom.
Learning happens through observation, dialogue, participation, and reflection.
Ideal for: Schools, Colleges, Universities, Gap Year Programs, Learning Communities, Homeschooling and unSchooling communities.

Social Impact Immersion Yatras
Walking with Communities
We partner with NGOs, youth collectives, theatre groups, and social initiatives to design immersive Yatras rooted in dialogue, participation, and lived realities.
These pilgrimages create space for deep listening, critical reflection, and authentic relationships with communities, inspiring participants to engage with social and ecological questions through direct experience.
Ideal for: NGOs, Youth Collectives, Theatre Groups, Social Initiatives
REIMAGINING LEADERSHIP THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCE
Conscious Corporate Yatras
Our Conscious Corporate Yatras invite organizations to journey beyond meeting rooms into spaces where nature, community, and dialogue become catalysts for collective transformation.
Moving past conventional retreats, we focus on cultivating mindful leadership, deepening interpersonal connections, and nurturing organizational cultures rooted in trust, authentic purpose, and creative resilience.
Ideal for: Leadership Teams, Social Enterprises, Mission-Driven Startups, and Purpose-Led Organizations looking to reconnect and evolve together.

Seva Yatras
Exploring Gift Culture Through Seva
While Gift Culture runs through all our work, Seva Yatras offer a more intentional exploration of what it means to give, receive, care, and participate.
Rooted in Seva, Gift Culture, and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, these Yatras invite us to move beyond consuming places and communities and enter into relationships of mutual learning, dignity, and reciprocity.
The journey itself becomes an exploration:
What do we have to offer? What does it mean to receive with gratitude? Can travel become a practice of care?
Seva Yatras may follow a Pay-As-You-Wish or flexible contribution model, allowing participants to contribute according to their capacity and the needs of the Yatra.
The intention is not to create a “free trip”, but to explore different ways of participating in and sustaining a shared Yatra.
Ideal for: Individuals, families, educators, young people, community builders, social practitioners, artists and anyone curious about Gift Culture, Seva, conscious travel, and alternative ways of living and
learning.
